Winter is the best time to reset your garden to prepare for the Spring and Summer Gardening. Come learn with us on how to feed your soil and compost regardless where you live! There is a composting style for everyone. If you’re a home gardener, you might have considered composting at some point but tossed the idea when you got overwhelmed thinking about where to start. Or maybe you’ve been composting for a while now but are interested in finding a more thorough technique. Whatever your situation, you’ll find guidance in our upcoming workshops.

In this workshop, you will get an overview of 4 different types of composting:

  1. Bokashi

  2. Worm/Insect Composting

  3. Hot Compost

  4. Cold Composting

San Diego regenerative gardening expert, Ron McCord and urban homesteader enthusiast, Jessica Sensenbaugh will be sharing their expertise on the different composting methods that will help your garden thrive!

Children are welcome, but you are responsible for their behavior. This is a working homestead and we have dogs. We have babysitting service available upon request.

*These events are non-refundable and will be rescheduled if mother nature throws us a curveball.
