All workshops are hosted at the Sensible Homestead.
Children are welcome, but you are responsible for their behavior. This is a working homestead and we have dogs. We have babysitting service available upon request.

Like always, our workshop will be very hands-on, and you’ll go home with planted seeds ready to sprout into seedlings. We will also cover a lot of the essentials of seed-starting vegetables, herbs and flowers. And if you want, we can discuss particular plants and varieties. We can even touch a bit on propagating a few herbs.
As you prepare your spring/summer garden, please join two local Southern California homesteaders (Jes from Sensible Homestead, and Ron from Good Grow Organics) for an upcoming hands on class on Spring/Summer Seed Starting! Learn to start your own seedlings from seed and growing your own food!
